Why Swabees

Our beeswax candles are hand-poured using beeswax from our own Lincolnshire hives. From our family-run apiary in the Lincolnshire Wolds to your festive home, each candle is a small-batch piece, not a factory product.

Burning tips and candle care

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn and remove loose wick debris. Place the candle upright and securely in a suitable heat-resistant holder or dish that catches wax drips, on a stable, level surface.

Keep away from draughts, curtains, Christmas decorations and other flammable materials. Never burn on a Christmas tree or while hanging. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Decorative shaped candles may drip unevenly, so do not try to force a full edge-to-edge wax pool. If the candle smokes or the flame becomes unusually large, extinguish it, allow it to cool and trim the wick before relighting. Stop using it if smoking continues. Allow the candle and holder to cool completely before handling.
