The science of beeswax

Beeswax candles release negative ions as they burn, which neutralise airborne pollutants like pollen, dust and dander — naturally cleansing the air. The light from beeswax is the closest to natural sunlight, producing a warm bright glow that reduces eye strain and enhances mood. Perfect for meditation, relaxation and creating a cosy home.

Burning tips

Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn and keep away from draughts for an even flame. Allow the wax pool to reach the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling. Beeswax burns slower and cleaner than paraffin — your candle will last. Burn on a heat-resistant surface only. Never leave unattended or within reach of children or pets.

Hand-poured in our purpose-built soap kitchen in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, using beeswax from our own home apiary. Our bees roam an acre of bee-friendly orchard and 100s of hectares of Wolds — a small-batch piece, not a factory product.
